Martin Texier "Petite Nature"
Martin Texier "Petite Nature"
Martin Texier, inspired by his father Eric (a renowned Northern Rhône natural wine producer) started making wine in 2014 after studying economics in New York City. Moving back to his home in the Rhone valley, Martin purchased five hectares in St.-Julien-en-St.-Alban, planted with classic Rhône varieties on diverse soils. Martin aims to revive local natural winemaking traditions, using native yeast fermentations without sulfur. His early success showcases his talent, especially with his 'Petit Nature' pétillant naturel, a lively blend of Muscat and Chasselais Rose, fermented in the bottle. Dry, aromatic and energetic!
