Les Vignerons d'Estézargues is a remarkable cooperative of 12 winemakers in the Rhone Valley, founded in 1965. Situated near Avignon, this cooperative sets itself apart by prioritizing natural winemaking practices. Led by winemaker Jean-François Nicq, they follow minimal intervention principles, avoiding commercial yeast, enzymes, gum arabic, acidifiers, and using minimal sulfur. Each terroir is vinified separately to showcase growers' best plots, proudly bearing individual domain names like Genestas and Grès Saint Vincent. With a commitment to transitioning to organic farming and a sun-drenched plateau ideal for viticulture, Les Vignerons d’Estézargues blends tradition with innovation in the world of wine. Together they have been making small, organic batches of natural wine for more than 30 years!
