Il Poggio Gavi di Gavi Rovereto Black Label

This Gavi wine captures the essence of its Cortese grapes, cultivated in the vineyards surrounding the winemaker's home in Rovereto. The hill's red, stony soil and old vines offer the ideal expression of the Gavi crus, with full exposure to sunlight. The winemaker's first creation, symbolized by the black label, reflects a deep connection to the land, featuring a strong sense of terroir, hard work, minerality, and vibrant tanginess. The wine’s straw-yellow hue is accompanied by aromas of cut grass, white flowers, medlar, and yellow citrus. On the palate, it is creamy with a thick texture of tropical fruit, a citrus-driven character, and the fragrance of aromatic herbs.
