Frank August's Single Barrel Cask Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the brand's second release, featuring hand-selected barrels from their library. Bottled at cask strength (114.6 - 125.4 proof) and aged 6.1 years, this deep auburn bourbon has a nose of cooked fruit, vanilla, and cacao. The palate highlights pronounced baking spices and rye, balanced by sweet vanilla and caramel. The finish is long and balanced, with lingering notes of baking spices, black cherries, cacao, oak, and vanilla. A truly unique and rare offering.
