Clarisse De Suremain 'Beaune' Vieilles Vignes 2019

Clarisse De Suremain 'Beaune' Vieilles Vignes 2019

Clarisse de Suremain, daughter of a violinist, transitioned from a business career to pursue her passion for wine. Niece of Eric de Suremain from Château de Monthelie, she delved into biodynamics, studying viticulture in Beaune and working in vineyards for three years. Mentored by David Didon, she acquired organic plots in Pommard, Volnay, and Monthelie, totaling 2.5 hectares. Inspired by natural producers, her cellar work minimizes sulfur use. The unmanipulated wines exhibit impressive purity, precision, and freshness. Serious yet approachable, they can be enjoyed now or aged for added complexity, reflecting Clarisse's commitment to a true winemaking expression.
