Champagne Boutillez-Guer Les Huchettes NV

Manon Boutillez-Guer, hailing from a lineage of winemakers in Villers-Marmery, has taken the reins of her family’s 500-year-old vineyard with a fresh perspective. After a career in nursing, she returned to winemaking in 2018, quickly making a name for herself with her first micro cuvées in 2020. Dedicated to sustainability, Manon earned her HVE/VDC certification in 2021 and is committed to organic and biodynamic practices, following the moon cycles for optimal timing in her winemaking process.

Her Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut is a stunning expression of 100% Chardonnay from the 2018 harvest, sourced from the expansive les Huchettes plot. This parcel, planted in 2000, spans 1.225 hectares, making it one of the largest in her vineyard. With only 2104 bottles produced, this wine is a true labor of love.

Vinified in tanks without fining and lightly filtered, this Champagne receives just a touch of sulfur at disgorging. When you pour a glass, the aromas of peach, white flowers, and chalk greet you. Take a sip and enjoy the bright notes of citrus and orange zest, finishing with a long, salty hint that keeps you coming back for more.
