Bernard Rémy Champagne Carte Blanche Brut NV
Bernard Rémy Champagne Carte Blanche Brut NV
Clean and fresh, yet soft, notes of grapefruit and lemon curd, a slight salinity, and a subtle undertone of rosehip envelop your palate and invite you for another sip. Ideal as an aperitif and with light starters such as oysters, tuna tartare, or crudite. Perfect for celebrations big and small!
Champagne Bernard Rémy, founded in 1968, has gained recognition in the recent grower Champagne resurgence. Located in Allemant in the Cotes des Blancs, the estate has expanded to 11 hectares, including Grand Cru areas, practicing hands-on viticulture. Though labeled as Négociant Manipulant (NM), they farm leased vineyards themselves, overseeing all aspects of viticulture. Specializing in Chardonnay from limestone soils, they've also added Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier vineyards, aiming for diverse soil structures. Rudy, mentored by his father Bernard, now leads the estate, offering a range of sophisticated, reasonably priced Champagnes that balance richness with subtlety.
