Azimut Negre Red Blend

Azimut Negre Red Blend

The perfect + chic bottle of natty red to kick off the new year right. We’re headed to Catalonia! Penedès to be more specific - a natural and historical region of the autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. One of the most ancient viticultural areas in Europe, better-known for its Cava production, a sparkling wine which has had its own Denominació d'Origen since 1986. But they’re also known for their fine still wines.

I love a Spanish red that hits the right notes in perfect harmony. It’s what effortless means to me. This is one of those bottles you can enjoy on any given night of the week OR bring to a gathering to share with friends. So easy on the palate and comforting to the soul. No fuss, just delicious wine that’s super food friendly.

Made from 20 year old vines grown on calcareous clay - a beautiful blend of 100% organic Tempranillo, Garnatxa, Monastrell (aka Mourvèdre and Mataro), Syrah and Samsó (aka Carignan). Medium-bodied and full of flavor but dry and satisfying. I can’t get enough of this wine! Serve at room temp or slightly chilled. Pair with an assortment of cheese and charcuterie or with grilled salmon and roasted asparagus (yes you can pair fish with red wine!).
