Villa Le Corti Chianti Cortevecchia Classico DOCG 2016 1.5L

Crafted by Villa Le Corti, the 2016 Chianti Classico is an incredibly inviting, authentic expression of Tuscany’s historic heartland that captures everything we love about traditional Chianti. Sourced from 33-year-old organic vines rooted in clay and ancient river rocks, this Sangiovese and Colorino blend is fermented with native yeasts for 14 days and then aged for 16-20 months in oak barrels.

Transparent ruby and bright, with notes of lavender and cherry, rose hip and pomegranate, has a light dry flower layer. A dynamic vibration of red orange opens the vital sip with its classic tannin designed by an austere but fresh grip. The long finish is tasty and elegant with notes of aromatic herbs, black cherries, mint and licorice root.
