Samtavisi Marani "Chinuir-Goruli Mtsvane" 2024

Samtavisi Marani "Chinuir-Goruli Mtsvane" 2024

Crafted by artist, musician, and winemaker Mamuka Kikvadze, this 2024 amber wine is a soulful expression from his two-hectare vineyard in Kartli’s Samtavisi Village, nestled between the Trialeti mountains and the High Caucasus. Mamuka treats winemaking as a natural extension of his creative arts—even hand-designing the labels himself—using a thoughtful, intuitive approach to unlock each harvest’s potential. Combining Chinuri juice with whole-cluster Goruli Mtsvane, the wine ferments and ages in subterranean terra cotta qvevri, undergoing a skin maceration that builds incredible character before being bottled unfiltered and unfined. The result is a vibrant, textured white wine brimming with dried orchard fruit, subtle spices, and a fine, tea-like tannin structure that makes it a true work of art both inside and outside the bottle.
