collaboration between US importer Roni Selects and pioneer female winemaker Tamuna Bidzinashvili, the 2024 "ChinChinuri" from Kortavebis Marani is an exceptionally vibrant, artisanal skin-contact white wine. Sourced from organically farmed Chinuri vines rooted in the mineral-rich white stone soils of Kakheti, Georgia, this natural orange wine undergoes partial skin maceration and spontaneous fermentation using ambient yeasts in subterranean terra cotta qvevri. Bottled completely unfiltered, unfined, and with zero added sulfur, it strikes a harmonious balance between refreshing drinkability and light amber complexity. The palate is brimming with bright citrus peel, ripe orchard fruits, delicate floral notes, and subtle tea-like tannins, finished with a crisp, stony minerality that makes it a fantastic gateway for skin-contact lovers.
