RAYU Sal de Gusano Agave Worm Salt

This salt is smoky, salty and earthy. It’s has a balance between flavors. It’s spicy but not overwhelming. Nice after-taste. The Chiplotle is a very popular flavor for many foods and candys because it’s really nice tasting and the chipotle gives the best balance. It numbs your lips a little. We recommend that you do the tasting with oranges and white bread to clean the palate! Made in San Juan del Río, Oaxaca using a Metate / Metlapilli (rectangular carved stone / cylindrical stone). Hand made by traditional griddle roasting and stone grinding.

Pair with: tequila, mezcal or any agave spirit and sliced oranges!

Ingredients: Agave worm (Hypopta Agavis), Sea salt (NaCI), Dried pepper (Capsicum Annuum) Chile pasilla & Chile chipotle.
