Oda Family Winery "Maro" 2023

Crafted by Oda Family Winery, a celebrated female-led natural producer in Western Georgia, the 2023 "Maro" is an extraordinarily rare and playful expression with a micro-production of just 400 bottles. Sourced from organic vineyards across Racha and Imereti rooted in sand, loam, and clay, this unique cuvée marries the direct-pressed juice of Tsolikouri  and Aladasturi with a short, 3-day qvevri skin maceration of red Dzelshavi grapes. Fermented with native yeasts and aged for six months in traditional terra cotta qvevri, it is bottled unfiltered and unfined. The result is a dry, luminous, light-bodied "chillable red" meets dark rosé profile bursting with crunchy red berries, citrus zest, and delicate floral lift.
