Nikaido Kitchom Barley Shochu

Nikaido Kitchom is a premium, aged mugi (barley) shochu from Oita Prefecture, Japan. Distilled from 100% barley and barley koji, it is aged for over a year in steel tanks and presented in a signature, hand-painted clay flask. It is aromatic and fruity, with delicate notes of yellow citrus, pear, and subtle white flowers. The aging rounds out the brighter, fruitier notes for a richer, smoother, and slightly peppery mouthfeel. Mix it with some  soda water and a twist of citrus for a crisp, refreshing, and herbal serve!
