Wonderwerk Marinara Red Blend 2023

Wonderwerk's new vintage of Marinara just dropped! WoOoooO! Made with 41% Montepulciano, 29% Teroldego, 22% Zinfandel and 10% Grenache. The Montepulciano went through 2 weeks of carbonic maceration while all other varieties were destemmed and fermented for 2 weeks in 1.5 ton open-top fermentors. All destemmed lots began with twice daily pump-overs, yielding to twice daily punch-downs a few days into fermentation (this is done to extract the desired amount of color, flavor and tannins). Each variety was pressed separately and aged in neutral oak for 6 months.
