The 2024 Las Jaras "Superbloom" is a vibrant, category-defying bottle that captures the essence of what the winery calls the "violet hour"; that magical transition from sunset to starlight. This seventh vintage of their beloved multi-varietal co-ferment is a brilliant mashup of Chenin Blanc, Grenache Noir, Carignan, and a splash of Viognier. By fermenting red and white grapes together, Las Jaras has created a wine that drinks like a "nighttime rosé" or a hyper-chilled light red. The nose is a playful mix of salted watermelon, rhubarb, and wild strawberry, while the palate offers a surprising, savory texture and a clean, mineral-driven finish. It is remarkably fresh, crackling with a glou-glou energy.
