Kareen Red Blend 2023

Born from a garage project in 2010 to four generations of vineyard care in Lodi, Kareen Wines is the product of the Nemet family’s Armenian heritage meeting California’s adventurous winemaking spirit. Built with a low-intervention ethos, their 2023 Red Blend is a brilliant pairing of two bold varietals: the deep, velvety richness of Malbec meets the bright, electric lift of Barbera.

The nose opens with luscious black cherry, ripe plum, cocoa, and dark spice. On the palate, juicy boysenberry and red cherry take center stage, anchored by fine tannins and a subtle layer of oak-driven vanilla and caramel. Smooth, vibrant, and effortlessly balanced, it’s a stunning, fruit-forward red with enough bright acidity to keep every sip fresh.
