JJ Christoffel Erben Riesling Spätlese

Crafted by the historic J.J. Christoffel Erben estate in the heart of Germany’s Mosel region, this 100% Riesling is a benchmark expression of the famed Ürziger Würzgarten vineyard. Grown on steep, iron-rich red slate soils, the organically and sustainably farmed vines yield fruit of incredible depth and mineral complexity. Hand-harvested in mid-October and fermented with indigenous yeasts, this Spätlese beautifully marries traditional slate-driven character with a precise, low-intervention approach.

On the nose, it greets you with an alluring, aromatic bouquet of delicate white pepper, cardamom, and fresh-picked herbs, lifted by a burst of zesty red citrus. The palate is fresh, electric, and lively, where a core of gentle natural sweetness is perfectly harmonized by a vibrant, limey acidity that sails into a long, mineral-laced finish.
