Grape Republic Cabernet Franc 2022

Grape Republic Cabernet Franc Yamagata Red comes from Takahata in Yamagata Prefecture. Made from organically grown Cabernet Franc harvested by hand, the grapes are fully destemmed and fermented on their skins in amphora for 13 days, then aged for nine months in the same vessels. A small touch of Cabernet Sauvignon adds depth and structure. Bright red fruit, gentle spice, and herbal lift define the palate, while a supple texture and fresh acidity make it both elegant and deeply drinkable. This is Cabernet Franc with a Japanese accent making it vivid, precise, and quietly captivating.
