El Pintor Tequila Blanco

El Pintor Tequila Blanco

El Pintor Tequila Blanco is a lowland tequila with loads of minerality! The weight on the palate is medium-bodied, and the sipping experience is naturally sweet and herbal, with a kick of heat! Small batch tequila at its finest (and coolest!). Inventory is not always dependable with El Pintor Tequila Blanco because it’s in high demand and limited in production. When we have it, we have it! It’s one of our favorite blancos for making simple, delicious cocktails AND for showing off on the bar cart. The bottle is beautiful with its luxe, soft fiber paper label and watercolor art.

Maestro Tequilero Guillermo Barroso Arnaud uses a unique process after brick oven cooking the agave to crush around 25% using the traditional tahona method and the other 75% via mechanical mill with centrifugal force to avoid ripping the agave which can happen in a standard mill. Fermentation is done in a single tank by batch without temperature control, inoculated with both indigenous yeast from the air and from the production agave after harvest; lasting 3 days and with the bagasse, or leftover agave fibers, from the tahona mill crushed agave included.
