This traditional and classic red Burgundy showcases the elegance and finesse of Volnay along with the brawn and depth of Gevrey—the best of both worlds, meaty and chewy with silky tannins and sophisticated refinement. Pale ruby color, fragrant with wild strawberries, red cherries, violets, forest floor, anise, and a hint of cedar. Intense nose of morello cherry, blackcurrant, plum, and smoky notes. Full palate with beautiful structure, ripe fruit, and spices on the finish bringing freshness.

Treated with the same care as the domaine's premiers crus, and will certainly age like one. The lush fruit and structure from Gevrey combined with the floral, soft touch of Volnay creates something special: a Bourgogne Rouge that punches way above its appellation.
