Domaine Courbet Côtes du Jura "Violette" 2023

Crafted by Domaine Courbet in the Jura region of France, the 2023 "Violette" is a beautifully expressive Trousseau named after the winemaker's daughter, sourced from estate-grown vines planted between 1999 and 2004. Grown biodynamically across chalky limestone and marnes clay soils, the hand-harvested grapes are gently destemmed by hand; with a touch of whole clusters thoughtfully layered at the bottom of the vat to sustain a lively native yeast fermentation and lend an aromatic, airy spiciness to the wine. Aged in barrel with zero fining, filtering, and minimal sulfur added, this natural expression offers a pure, vibrant reflection of its Côtes du Jura terroir.
