Chateau du Breuil V.S.O.P. Calvados
Chateau du Breuil V.S.O.P. Calvados
From the heart of Normandy, Château du Breuil crafts one of the region’s most iconic Calvados. Made from a meticulous selection of cider apples grown in their orchards, the fruit is pressed into juice and naturally fermented into a dry cider before undergoing double distillation in traditional copper pot stills. The young spirit is then aged for a minimum of 4 years in French oak casks within the château’s historic cellars, allowing it to develop elegance, complexity, and a silky texture.
The result is a refined Calvados with notes of baked apple, pear, dried fruit, and a touch of spice, layered over subtle oak and vanilla. Smooth and balanced, it can be enjoyed neat, as a contemplative after-dinner drink, or in classic cocktails like a Normandy Old Fashioned.
