Ashkahn '777' Pinot Noir
Ashkahn '777' Pinot Noir
This Pinot Noir, crafted from Clone 777, comes from the esteemed Presqu’ile estate, a site defined by its sandy soils and dramatic climate. With cool mornings giving way to sun-soaked afternoons, the grapes develop a striking balance of structure, intensity, and purity. The result is a wine that fully captures the energy and character of its origin.
At the helm of this project is Ashkahn Shahparnia, a Los Angeles-based artist and creative force known for his bold, multidisciplinary work. From designing stationery to making wine, his playful yet refined approach has earned him recognition in Interview Magazine, Paper Magazine, The New York Times, and Taschen. Named one of Print Magazine’s Top 20 Under 30 in 2011, he has built a brand that spans over 500 stores worldwide. Inspired by everything from Amadeus to tequila, Charles Bukowski, and jazz, Ashkahn first entered the wine world with "Lou", a 2020 Chardonnay. With this Pinot Noir, he continues his exploration of expressive and dynamic winemaking.
