Domaine Alain Geoffroy Chablis

Pale straw color, with green highlights. A mix of tart tree-fruit, just-picked white flowers, crushed stones, and almond skins on the nose. Subtle but no wallflower, this wine builds on the palate, with fresh pear juice, green-apple skins, orange blossoms, brewer's yeast, chalk, and flint. A rounded mouthfeel, with plenty of verve and bracing acidity on the lemony finish. An exemplary Chablis.
