Ovum "Pink Salt"

  • Producer: Ovum
  • Winemaker: Ksenija Kostic House (co-owner + winemaker!)
  • Region: Oregon/Washington
  • Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon + Big Salt (their most beloved white wine, made with a blend of Early Muscat, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewurztraminer!)

Ovum’s newest release is a bold rosé that will help you transition from late Winter to the first blooms of Spring. Winemaker Ksenija Kostic House and her partner John aim to create wines that are honest and reflect time and place. All of their wines start with good grapes, finding farmers that share their beliefs.

Beaujolais "Sourire de Nouveau" 2021

  • Producer: Les Souriants
  • Winemaker: Maxime Troncy
  • Region: Rhone, France
  • Varieties: 100% Gamay

Maxime Troncy comes from a legacy of winemaking. In 2013, his father gifted him some vines to work without chemical intervention and the rest is history. His Beaujolais is bright, earthy and fresh with notes of strawberries and cream! It’s meant to be enjoyed chilled and right away with a big family meal. Enjoy with a rotisserie chicken, sauteed mushrooms with garlic and rosemary, or pork tenderloin and roasted carrots.

Tabeaux “Chillable Red”

  • Producer: Tabeaux Cellars
  • Winemaker: Marcus & Laura Boggs
  • Region: Amador County, CA
  • Varieties: Primitivo

Marcus and Laura Boggs run their adorable “farmery” (winery + farm!) in Amador County, CA. Their farmery is organic and 100% sustainable-powered near Lake Tabeau. They are a family-owned and operated boutique winery (they work with their two daughters Julianna and Lydia). They are fearless and relentless in their pursuit of creating unique wines that are delicious to pour and share. We are so excited to be working with this winery! We see this primitivo as a light red - it is so beautiful and charming with notes of cherries, clay, red apples and strawberry jam. Serve chilled and pair with roasted salmon and warm spinach salad.

Les Equilibristes "Seres"

  • Producer: Les Equilibristes
  • Winemaker: Etienne Besancenot
  • Region: Languedoc-Roussillon, France
  • Varieties: Marsannem Grenache Blanc, Vermentino, Roussanne and Viognier skins

We love French wine collective Les Equilibristes and their delicious + whimsical wines! Seres is and has been a staff favorite at F&F. The skin contact wine is extremely light, resulting in a clean, fleshy wine with notes of white peach, a touch of honey and a short pithy edge. It’s beautiful in the glass and on the palate. Les Equilibristes is a collective of passionate winegrowers that inspire each other, exchange ideas and push wine culture forward. Of course, being in France, the soil is key: clay, limestone and rolled pebbles. Ideal conditions for perfect grapes! The varieties are Marsanne, Grenache Blanc, Vermentino, Roussanne and Viognier skins. 100% organic farming. The finesse is a work of art and the balance of flavors is so delicate and precise. This wine will bring a smile to your face! Pair with panko crusted pan-fried chicken and curry or a birria burrito. Cheers!
