To preserve its vibrant character, the grapes were picked early and fermented and aged in various vessels, similar to their approach with Chenin Blanc. The result is a wine with true varietal character. In the glass, it gleams like opaque sunshine, offering aromas of apple blossom, Meyer lemon, and honeydew melon. The bone-dry palate delivers flavors of yellow nectarine, white cherry, and wet rock, culminating in a long, savory, and mouthwatering finish. We love this delicious Albariño!! Cheers!! xx

This wine, crafted by queer Latina winemaker Cary Quintana, features Picpoul grapes from Terra Alta Vineyard in Clements Hill, Lodi. It's all-natural, with native yeast fermentation, aged in stainless steel, and bottled unfined, unfiltered, with minimal sulfur. This wine offers more body than typical southern French versions, with bright citrus flavors, a pleasant creaminess on the mid-palate, and silky smooth freshness reminiscent of high acid-jazz. It has notes of pineapple pulp and budding spring flower blossoms, citrus and white melon. Not a common grape found in California, Cary Q has mastered Picpoul! Perfect for a summer day on the porch!
