1) Dinaube Tatsis âYoung Vinesâ Red Wine
Young Vines is a dry-farmed, certified organic, biodynamically produced wine made in Macedonia, Greece from a blend of Xinomavro and Negoska. This is a wine with a strong backbone (and tannins)! It drinks very similar to a Nebbiolo so be patient and get your swirl on while this strong, silent type opens up in your glass. Donât be afraid to decant this wine before enjoying it. You only have to decant as much as you want to drink and save the rest of the bottle for the next day. Our wines can always benefit from a little attention and breathing. Canât we all! The Tatsis Family has been making wine since the disintegration of the Ottoman Empire in 1924. They settled in an area called Goumenissa, an area (and appellation) and today two brothers Periklis and Stergios continue making outstanding small batch wines (Periklis works the land and oversees the vines with Stergios in charge of making the wine!) that are loved worldwide. Pair with slow cooked shredded beef ragu pasta, moussaka or lamb meatballs!
2) Las Jaras Slipper Sippers Nouveau 2022
âTis the season for Nouveau! Nouveau is the name given to the first wine of the vintage. The style originated out of Beaujolais, just south of Burgundy where they make wines from Gamay Noir using the technique carbonic maceration. This is how Las Jarasâ Slipper Sippers Nouveau is made. Made to drink RIGHT NOW. Made from a blend of organic ValdiguiĂ© (aka Napa Gamay), Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and Sangiovese. Youâll notice notes of blackberry, plum and cocoa, black plum, chocolate covered cherry, and boysenberry. Itâs juicy, young and fun. Just like you. Serve chilled and enjoy! xo
3) Le Coste Litrozzo Vino Rosso 1L
Natural wine doesnât get any more hypebae than Litrozzo Vino Rosso! All the girlies grasp for bottles when thereâs a new release. We are so excited to share this gorgeous + fun, highly drinkable, highly loveable wine with you! This wine is from Lazio, Central Italy and is made from a blend of local varieties: Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo and Merlot. Unfined, unfiltered, zero additives, this wine is pure and true! Youâll notice all the beautiful red fruit notes of cherry, raspberry and cranberry! Serve chilled and pair with cheeseburgers + curly fries, tacos, or pizza. Donât think too much about it. 4) Las Jaras Glou Glou
Glou Glou is one of the most beloved, fun to drink wines in Southern California. Las Jaras is helmed by celebrity/comic/food lover Eric Wareheim. He is obsessed with all things food and wine. Glou Glou is made from organic grapes from Mendocino County, CA - a blend of Zinfandel, Carignan, Petite Sirah, Mourvedre, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Itâs a chillable red that pairs well with âcircle foodsâ so if itâs shaped like a circle, you know what to do! Itâs both fruit forward and dry at the same time. Bursting with brambly flavors with a dry and satisfying finish. Itâs a flavor journey for the lighthearted, whimsical child within.
