Beaujolais Sourire de Nouveau 2021

  • Producer: Les Souriants
  • Winemaker: Maxime Troncy
  • Region: Rhone, France
  • Varieties: 100% Gamay

Maxime Troncy comes from a legacy of winemaking. In 2013, his father gifted him some vines to work without chemical intervention and the rest is history. His Beaujolais is bright, earthy and fresh with notes of strawberries and cream! It’s meant to be enjoyed chilled and right away with a big family meal. Enjoy with a rotisserie chicken, sauteed mushrooms with garlic and rosemary, or pork tenderloin and roasted carrots.

Tabeaux “Chillable Red”

  • Producer: Tabeaux Cellars
  • Winemaker: Marcus & Laura Boggs
  • Region: Amador County, CA
  • Varieties: Primitivo

Marcus and Laura Boggs run their adorable “farmery” (winery + farm!) in Amador County, CA. Their farmery is organic and 100% sustainable-powered near Lake Tabeau. They are a family-owned and operated boutique winery (they work with their two daughters Julianna and Lydia). They are fearless and relentless in their pursuit of creating unique wines that are delicious to pour and share. We are so excited to be working with this winery! We see this primitivo as a light red - it is so beautiful and charming with notes of cherries, clay, red apples and strawberry jam. Serve chilled and pair with roasted salmon and warm spinach salad.

Danis Dans la Vigne Crapaud-Licorne Bufo Unicornis Malbec 2021

  • Producer: Danis Dans la Vigne
  • Winemaker: Danis Bessières (grower and winemaker!)
  • Region: Cahors, France
  • Varieties: 100% Malbec

Danis Dans la Vigne is owned and operated by Danis Bessières, who followed in his father’s footsteps (Philippe Bessières of Domaine de l’Antenet in Puy-l'Évêque). He focuses on organic farming and creating small batch wines that represent South West France. Crapaud-Licorne (lovingly referred to as just “Bufo”) is 100% Malbec - plump, full bodied and bold. Notes of black cherry, mocha, black pepper. leather and gravel. Serve slightly chilled and pair with Korean bbq, brisket, lentils, or roasted root vegetables. Think earthy and umami. Enjoy!

Osa Major “The Secret Garden” Old Vine Carginan

  • Producer: Osa Major Wines
  • Winemaker: Emily Fernwood (winemaker and owner!)
  • Region: Lodi, California
  • Varieties: 100% Carignan

Osa Major Wines is owned and operated by one woman: Emily Fernwood. She does everything from trucking grapes to selling bottles and everything in between! Emily spent the years after college traveling and working harvest all the world over, from California and Oregon to Australia and New Zealand, until she founded Osa Major Wines in 2020. Being a Bay Area native, she is compelled to explore the incredible variety of geology and history that can be found in the NorCal vineyards.  juicy, delicious, brambly, easy-drinking red from certified sustainable, organic Carignan grown by John Shinn, a fourth generation farmer. Mule Plane Vineyard contains 90+ year-old vines! This means roots that extend deep into the sandy loam soil, allowing for complex flavors to develop and offer resistance to Lodi's hot growing season. Mule Plane Vineyard is farmed organically and is registered with the Historic Vineyard Society! What’s old is new once again. We love this beautiful red wine!
