The Suriol family has been making wine for generations at Castell de Grabuac, a 15th-century farmhouse surrounded by limestone-rich vineyards in sunny Penedès, Catalonia. This fresh, crisp blend of Xarel·lo and Macabeu features two native grapes that thrive in the Mediterranean climate. It’s made naturally with wild yeasts and minimal intervention, letting the fruit and the place speak for themselves. Bright and lively in the glass, it offers notes of juicy pear, citrus zest, a touch of fennel, and a salty, mineral finish. Easy to love and endlessly drinkable, it’s a great example of the region’s old-school, organic winemaking tradition.
