Domaine Philippe Tessier Cheverny Rosé
Domaine Philippe Tessier Cheverny Rosé
Love at first sip! Wonderful amount of mouthwatering juicy red fruit on top of a delicate mineraly floral foundation. Notes of dry herbs, citrus peel, and salt air on the palate! Delicate enough to enjoy with your salad and enough bright acidity to pair with everything from french fries to salads. Light, mineral-driven and so easy-drinking. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Domaine Philippe Tessier is a wine estate located in the Loire Valley of France, specifically in the Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny appellations. This family-owned winery is known for producing high-quality wines, primarily from grape varieties native to the Loire Valley! Winemaker Philippe Tessier focuses on growing indigenous grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc and Gamay in the Cheverny appellation, as well as the rare Romorantin grape in the Cour-Cheverny appellation. Romorantin is particularly unique to the region and is known for producing distinctive and age-worthy wines. He practices sustainable and environmentally friendly viticulture to minimize the impact on the land and preserve the natural ecosystem. His wines have gained recognition for their quality and their expression of the unique terroir of the Loire Valley. We love how accessible and free-spirited his wines are and the amount of labor and love that goes into each bottle.
